Richard Lutes has over 40 years’ experience in the practice of hematology/oncology, including patient care, teaching, academia, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical. During that period, he founded a hematology oncology practice, was a Medical Director for Bayer Pharmaceutical’s Biotechnology Division, acted as the Chief Medical Officer for several Biotechnology companies, and consulted on multiple clinical research trials.
Richard spent the last five years of his career as senior medical director at IQVIA Biotech, a division of IQVIA, the world’s largest clinical research company with 80,000 employees globally. This allowed the opportunity to act as the chief medical lead along with the sponsor company on some of the world’s most innovative cancer research projects.
Now retired from formal practice, Richard remains passionate about helping patients directly — bringing expertise, clarity, and hope to individuals and families navigating cancer today.
